Through hard work, dedication and perseverance, David Peri has had the good fortune of building a successful business growing premium onions on his farmlands in the Mason Valley, and he counts his blessings every day.

“We love this area and hope to farm here for many years to come. We take great pride in being a part of this community and hope that Peri & Sons Farms can continue to thrive and help sustain the economy in this valley,” said David.

Peri & Sons Farms has a commitment to community involvement that extends far beyond its responsibility as one of Mason Valley’s largest employers. Over the last three decades David and his family have not only come to know the valley’s lands, they’ve come to know generations of the valley’s people. Over the years the Peri’s commitment to their community has been demonstrated in many ways, but it is the children of the valley that especially inspire the Peri’s generosity.

As one of its original founders, the Boy and Girls Club of Mason Valley (BGC-MV) is very near-and-dear to Pamela Peri’s heart. Pamela is adamant about “giving back” to the community to meet immediate needs but also feels strongly about funding the community’s future by supporting and nurturing the area’s children.

In 2008 BGC-MV bestowed their “From the Heart” award to the Peri’s for their unwavering commitment to the children of Mason Valley. Pamela continues to actively support the organization and proudly solicits sponsorships and donations for the organization from friends, family and anyone else she can. Donations are gladly accepted online any time of year through the Boys and Girls Club of Mason Valley website.

When asked, Pamela says “David and I both believe in generously giving to our local community because we know that helping others matters and gives meaning to our lives.” Pamela and David also strive to foster a company culture at Peri & Sons Farms that focuses on the positive aspects of giving and they find great satisfaction as those around them come to understand what they themselves learned long ago; giving is its own reward.
