Cheesy Caramelized Onion and Shrimp Dip

This melty, gooey, flavorful dip is off-the-charts good and always a hit on Game Day. Easy to prepare, we like to serve this with slices of French bread. This recipe makes 12 servings.

PREP TIME: 15 minutes
COOK TIME: 50 minutes

Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
3 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/4 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
Few dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
Few dashes hot sauce
16 ounces shrimp, cooked and coarsely chopped

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375 F.

Heat oil in a small skillet to medium on the stove top. Add onions and cook, stirring every few minutes, until the onions become fragrant and turn a caramel color. Remove from heat and let cool.

Add cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, cheddar, jack, Old Bay seasoning hot sauce and Worcestershire to a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, mix well. Fold in shrimp, onion and green onion. Pour mixture into a glass baking dish and cook in the oven for 30 minutes, or until the dip is golden and bubbling. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
