Hawaiian Macaroni Salad
This easy salad is THE comfort food of the Hawaiian islands -- and it is so good! Economical and a real crowd-pleaser, most of the ingredients are likely in your pantry already. It's the perfect side dish for your next barbecue and pairs well with ribs, teriyaki chicken or any protein with Asian-inspired flavors. This recipe makes 12 servings.

Ingredients
1 pound macaroni
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 carrots, shredded
1/4 cup grated sweet onion
2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions
Cook macaroni according to package instructions and drain well. Add noodles to a large mixing bowl and toss well with the vinegar, carrots and onions. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes, until the noodles cool.
Whisk mayonnaise, milk and sugar together in a bowl. Pour on top of the macaroni, fold to combine, cover and chill for up to 4 hours before serving.
