COOK TIME

Ingredients
For the burger patties:
1 1/2 pounds ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon sweet or smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 slices jack cheese
Remaining ingredients:
4 brioche burger buns, split and toasted
4 strips bacon, cooked
1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced
1 ripe tomato, sliced
Large handful of leafy greens
Mayonnaise or sandwich spread
Directions
Make the burger patties: Combine chicken, garlic, onion and spices in a large bowl. Mix gently with your (clean) hands, being careful not to overwork the mixture. Form mixture into 4 patties of even size.
Heat oil in a large skillet to medium. Add burger patties and cook for 10 minutes, flipping once halfway through cooking. Place a slice of cheese on top of each patty, cover and cook for 2 minutes more. Remove patties from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before assembling the burgers.
To assemble, Spread some mayonnaise on the bottom of each of the four buns. Place a patty on top of each and add bacon, avocado, tomato slices and some greens. Serve immediately.
