Healthier Broccoli Salad
Loaded with fiber and flavor, this crunchy salad makes excellent pot luck fare or an energizing afternoon snack. For the best flavor, chop up the ingredients into small pieces, assemble and let sit, chilled, overnight. This recipe makes 8 servings.

Healthier Broccoli Salad
Ingredients
For the dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Remaining ingredients:
8 cups broccoli florets, chopped well
1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup salted sunflower seeds, hulled
1/2 pound bacon, cooked and then crumbled into small pieces
Directions
Make the dressing: Whisk together all dressing ingredients in a non-reactive bowl.

Add all salad ingredients to a mixing bowl. Pour the dressing over the top and fold well to combine. Cover and chill overnight before serving.
